How to Start The Profane and the Lost
To begin The Profane and the Lost quest, speak with Davrin at the Lighthouse after completing the Blood of Arlathan main quest and speaking with Solas.
The Profane and the Lost Walkthrough
For this quest, travel to the Hossberg Wetlands and begin the quest.

After your conversation, follow the path then take the elevator down.

When the cutscene ends, you’ll engage in a battle against Na-Than, the Blighted Warden. Take him out then proceed further into the Deep Roads, taking out enemies as you come across them. When you reach the Profane City Approach, you’ll need to destroy the blight cyst on the wall then the one blocking the door.

After your conversation, proceed deeper into the area then head down into the ground to reach the Darkspawn Dungeons. Keep working your way through this area.
When you reach Garahel’s Point, you’ll need to use Assan to destroy the blight on the wall so the ladder will become usable.
Head on up then continue through the area to reach Profane Library. Destroy the blight in this room as the cysts appear and defeat Isseya.
