Forsaken Tower Info

The party will come to the Forsaken Tower during the Superior Scrimshaw quest in search of an Ebony Horn. It’s filled with goborn and mimic enemies, so you’ll want to ensure not to bring an Archetype that uses a staff. The tower also consists of 8 floors, with you starting at the bottom and the boss at the top.

Forsaken Tower Walkthrough

Ascend the Tower

This dungeon is pretty straightforward. You will start at the bottom and need to climb the stairs to work your way up to the top on the eighth floor. Along the way, you’ll face many goborn and Potolo enemies. There will be a couple of chests on the second and third floors that contain mimics. You’ll have some Orgo’s to deal with when you reach the higher floors. They resist all physical attacks and only have a weakness to dark. The giant also hits the power with powerful physical attacks and can inflict forget so make sure you are prepared before you face on. On the eighth floor, you’ll find a Plateau Mirage you can save at before facing the boss.

Boss Fight – Orgas

The Orgas at the top of the Forsaken Tower

This fight has you going up against the Level 38 giant, Orags. The big guy uses the same attacks as the Orgo, so if you’ve been fighting them, you’ll have an idea of how the fight will go. It uses strong physical attacks to overwhelm the party and resists Slash, Piercing, and Strike attacks. Its big weakness is Dark, so make sure to bring a couple of party members with access to dark attacks and magic.

Once it uses Heat Rise, you’ll want to dispel its buffs ASAP as it’s about to unload its strongest attack. This will prevent it from taking any actions for one turn. The Faker class has the Dekaja skill at Rank 13 that removes all buff effects on an enemy, or you can use an item for the same effect. Once the beast goes down, you’ll claim the Ebony Horn. For this fight, we brought a Commander with Medica and Assassin. We used the Commander to buff the party while healing, and the Assassin was our main form of damage. We left Hulkenberg as a Magic Knight, with Mudo inherited to tank as needed while being able to deal damage for extra turns.

Forsaken Tower Secondary Objectives

Gold Beetle

You’ll find the gold beetle on the 5th flower of the Forsaken Tower next to the railing in the middle on the north side.
