Welcome to NGB and our Metaphor ReFantazio walkthrough on the Abandoned Tomb area. This guide will cover everything you need to know about the Abandoned Tomb, from its layout to the enemies found there and the treasure you can plunder! You’ll come to the Abandoned Tomb for the A Dagger, a Ring, and A Rake quest.

When you enter the Abandoned Tomb, you’ll be on Floor 3, which also happens to have the most chests. You’ll a couple chests on the other three floors as well.

Abandoned Tomb Enemies
The Abandoned Tomb is filled with both undead and mimics, which one would expect.

Abandoned Tomb Misc
Gold Beetle
The gold beetle can be found in the southwestern corner of the 3rd Floor. To reach it, you’ll need to climb up to the 4th Floor and take the most southern ladder down.
Locked Doors
There are two locked doors on the 3rd Floor. One is near the entrance, and the other is in the northwestern part of the area. To open them, you must defeat the Trove Imitect mentioned in the section below and collect the key it drops. That will allow you to unlock the doors.
Trove Imitec Battle
You can find the Trove Imitec on the 3rd Floor just past the Plateau MIrage as a giant chest. Interact with it to being the battle. You’ll want to ensure you go in with multiple characters with light magic, as that is the mimic’s weakness. It will try to put the party to sleep and then attack them for massive damage. It also likes to use medium-strength physical attacks to damage the party. Once it’s defeated, you’ll receive a strange key.
