Welcome to NGB and our Metaphor: ReFantazio Brigitta bond guide. In Metaphor: ReFantazio, bonds with followers can be increased to unlock useful features such as Archetypes and upgrades to the Archetype abilities.

Character Overview

Brigitta is in charge of Lycaon Magic Association shop on Sunlumon Street in Grand Trad. With Brigitta, you’ll gain the Merchant Archetype! Rank Brigitta’s bond up to gain new abilities for the Merchant Archetype.

Brigitta Bond Ranks

Rank 1

Brigitta’s Rank 1 bond will be unlocked after completing the A Bullish Embargo quest. Once you’ve unlocked Rank 1, you can study the Merchant Archetype at Akademeia.

Rank 2

To increase Brigitta’s bond to Rank 2, you’ll first need to complete the Necromancer Takedown and Thwart Zorba’s Plan quests. After doing that, Gallica will tell you Brigitta wants to see you once it’s nighttime. Travel to Sunlumeo Street to find her outside of the Lycaon Magic Association, then speak with her. Choose the “I’m in.” option to get your next request via cutscene. Listed below are the questions that she’ll ask during the conversation. Answering them with the choices provided will reward them with the maximum amount of MAG.

• There’s one rule, however.
  • Is it actually some vicious monster…?
• This thing is a weakness waiting to be exploited.
  • Why hide it?
• I suppose you do have some surprising skills.
  • Either Option (no points)
• You should go home for today.
  • Either option (2 points)

Once completed, Brigitta’s bond level will increase to Rank 2, and you’ll learn the Merchant Enlightenment ability. It reduces the MAG cost of studying the Merchant Archetype.

Rank 3

Once Brigitta reaches Rank 2, after some time passes, Gallica will let you know that she’s looking for you. Head to her location at the usual spot and speak with her, choosing the “Of course.” option. This will trigger a cutscene where we’ll learn a bit more about her. Listed below are the questions that she’ll ask during the conversation. Answering them with the choices provided will reward them with the maximum amount of MAG.

• This is on you too, dog.
  • It’s proof she’s smart. (1)
• It could have just given up and died.
  • Either Option (0)
• … It was hell.
  • Either Option (0)
• Just like that dog, I let my guard down like a fool…
  • Understood. (1)
• What are your true motives?
  • To improve the country / To make my mark (1)

After it concludes, her bond will level up to Rank 3, unlocking the Scion’s Skill and Merchant’s Rate abilities. Scion’s Skill allows the Merchant Archetype to inherit 2 skills at a time while the Merchant’s Rate improves the exchange rate for MAG.

Rank 4

Wait for some time to pass after reaching Rank 3, then stop by to check up on Brigitta at night. She’ll seem sad, so choose “Did something happen?” to check in on her. This will lead to a cutscene where we’ll learn what is happening. Listed below are the questions that she’ll ask during the conversation. Answering them with the choices provided will reward them with the maximum amount of MAG.

• Here’s your pay
  • I’ll keep visiting. (3)

Once it concludes, you’ll reach a bond level of Rank 3, with Brigitta unlocking the Scion’s Merit and Merchant’s Finest abilities. Scion’s Merit allows the Merchant to inherit 3 skills, while Merchant’s Finest increases the variety of items sold at the Lycaon Magic Association.

Rank 5

To speak with Brigitta for her Rank 5 bonding event, you must increase your Courage Royal Virutre stat to Rank 3. Once you’ve done that, visit Brigitta at night and choose the “I’ll go where you’re going” option, followed by “No Problem” to begin the bond event. Below are the questions that will come up during the cutscene, along with the best choices to get the most MAG.

After it concludes, Brigitta’s bond will level up to Rank 5, unlocking the Guild Discount ability, which gives you a discount at weapon, armour, and igniter shops.
