How to Start More’s Tasks
You’ll start the first of More’s Tasks as part of the main story during the prologue shortly after meeting More. From that point on, you’ll need to complete his current task to receive the next one, and a new task will become available at the beginning of each chapter. More can be found in Akademia, so make sure to visit whenever you complete one of his requests.
More’s Tasks Walkthrough
More’s Task: Forward and Prologue
To complete More’s first assignment, you must level up the Healer Archetype to Rank 10. The Healer becomes available as part of the main story on 06/10 after you’ve formed a bond with Maria. After doing that, you can study the Healer in Akademeia and equip it to one of your party members as their active Archetype. This will allow them to gain EXP from battle to level the Archetype. You can speed up this process by using items such as Hero’s Incense or Hero’s Fruit to increase an archetype’s experience.
Once you’ve got the Healer to Rank 10, speak with More to turn it in. During the conversation, you’ll be asked two questions that reward extra MAG based on your responses. For the first question, feel free to choose any option as they all reward the same amount. For the second question, choose “It can change the world.” to get the maximum amount of the three questions. As a reward for completing More’s Task: Forward and Prologue, you’ll receive Hero’s Incense x3 and increase the Imagination Royal Virtue by 4 points.
Additionally, this will increase More’s bond level to Rank 2, unlocking the Seeker’s Enlightenment, Scion’s Skill, and More’s Magic Igniter. Seeker’s Enlightenment reduces the MAG cost of studying the Seeker Archetype, while Scion’s Skill increases the amount of skill inheritance slots to 2. Lastly, More’s Magic Igniter will allow you to access the Archetype Tree from the Main Menu. In the tree, you can study new Archetypes and inherit skills without going to Akademia.
More’s Task Chapter One: Ordeal
For More’s second task, you must study the Gunner Archetype, which costs 1,500 MAG. To unlock the Gunner Archetype, you’ll need to need to complete the Providing a Spark quest. Once you’ve done that, use the Archetype Tree and study it with any party member (you don’t have to equip it). After doing that, report to More in Akademia to complete the quest. As a reward for completing More’s Task Chapter One: Ordeal, you’ll receive Hero’s Fruit x5 and increase the Imagination Royal Virtue by 4 points.
More’s Task Chapter Two: Solitude
More’s Task Chapter Two will have you leveling the Merchant Archetype up to Rank 15. If you don’t have the Merchant Archetype, check out our Brigitta Bond Guide. To level the Merachnt, make it your active Archetype and take it into battle to earn A-EXP. You can also use items to speed up the process. If you max out any Archetype, you’ll get an item that gives 1000 A-EXP every time you level it up past the max. Once you complete the quest, you’ll receive Hero’s Fruit x8 and four points into the Imagination Royal Virtue.
More’s Task Chapter Three: Drifting
The fourth task from More requires that we study 15 different Archetypes. Once you complete the quest, you’ll receive 5 Hero’s Leaf of Light and four points into your Imagination Royal Attribute. More’s Task Chapter Four: Turmoil
More’s next task is for you to raise the General Archetype to Rank 15. You’ll receive 8 Hero’s Leaf of Light and four points in your Imagination Royal Attribute for completing this quest.
