How to Begin The Let’s Play a Game Quest
To start the Let’s Play a Game side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, speak with the person at the Eastern Temple in the Eastern Hyrule Field.
Let’s Play a Game Walkthrough
For the Let’s Play a Game side quest, you’ll need to defeat the monster in the temple as the archaeologist is too scared to go inside because of it. Head inside the Eastern Temple. In the first room there will be two columns with an electric orb circling both. Head to the right side of the right pillar when the timing is right to reach the next room.
In the second room, you’ll find a row of cubes with a boulder in the middle. On the left side of the room, you’ll spot a yellow cube. The goal is to send all three orbs into that cube. Use the boulder to block their path sending them inside the cube. Alternatively, you can summon your own Echo.
In the third room, you’ll find 2 electric orbs with the cube in the northwestern corner on a pedestal. You’ll need to have the 2 orbs go up the ramp.
When one orb is in the cube. Place the third boulder to block the second from coming back down the stairs.
This will cause it to bump into the wall and turn around. It will then be at the height needed to go into the cube. Enter the door on the western side of the room. In the next room, head down the stairs to reach a green lit room with 2 electric orbs circling a stone platform. Head down to the bottom of this area then use Strandtula Echo and climb up the web before the orbs come back around to reach the next area.
It will then be a straight shot to get to the end where you’ll encounter Smog.
Deal damage using a ranged attacker. Once he’s been damaged, he’ll split up into pieces. Now that he’s broken apart, use obstacles such as boulders to route the smaller pieces together so they can form into 1 piece again. You’ll then be able to deal damage to him again. Repeat this process until you’ve defeated him. Collect your loot then warp to the entrance. Speak with Sago to complete the Let’s Play a Game side quest. As a reward, you’ll receive an ancient charm.
