How to Start the Task From Mayor Tor
Task From Mayor Tor is one of the very first side quests you’ll be able to accept in Sand Land. You can start it by speaking with Mayor Tor in Spino after completing the Tank Repairs main quest. During the conversation, the mayor will ask Belz to bring him some machine gun scarp. Having been so helpful in light of the current situation, Belz simply cannot refuse to help.
Task From Mayor Tor Walkthrough
Obtain Some Machine Gun Scrap
To obtain the machine gun scarp for the mayor you have two options. The first is to track down some enemy tanks around Sand Land and defeat them then collect the items they drop. Chances are you’ll get some Machine Gun Scrap that you can bring to him. If you fast-travel to the easternmost Water Supply Point in the Tort Region and drive down to the Napps Checkpoint, a couple of tanks could spawn there. If neither of them drops the scrap, you can fast-travel back to the Water Supply Point to make them respawn and try again.
Option two is to travel to Junk Market: Lisab northwest of Spino also in the Tort Region and purchase some Machine Gun Scrap for 500z from the Peddler standing just past the entrance along the main road.
Give the Machine Gun Scrap to Mayor Tor
Once you have the scrap in your possession, head back to Spino and speak with Mayor Tor to hand it over. You’ll be rewarded with 250 zeni.
