Welcome to NGB and our Shin Megami Tensei V (SMTV) Vengeance walkthrough on the Chase Through Shakan main quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to breeze through this quest.

Make your way to Shakan
Travel to the Government Building 1 leyline and head into the building where the boss fight was. You’ll find a rail. Use it to reach a tall pillar. Walk forward and drop into a hole that appears to reach Shakan: 1st Stratum. When you arrive, follow the walkway through the door then head down the stairs towards the demons. As you approach, a cutscene will trigger leading to a fight against 2 Dominions and 2 Powers.

Once you defeat them, head through the door they were guarding to reach the leyline. Unlock it then follow the path leading deeper into the area. When you reach the triangle, interact with it twice to flip the room.
You’ll then be able to reach the next leyline. Keep working your way through the Shakan: 2nd Stratum to reach the Shakan: 3rd Stratum. Just after the Shakan: 3rd Stratum leyline, you’ll find 2 Cherub blocking your way.

The Cherub will use Force and Light skills. It’ll boost its attack, too. After the battle, keep making your way through Shakan: 3rd Stratum to reach Shakan: 4th Stratum where you’ll encounter Abdiel through a door.

Abdiel uses Light, Physical and Fire skills. In addition, she has multiple skills that hit the whole party. Upon defeating her, the Chase Through Shakan quest will complete!
