To begin the Put a Spring in Thy Step quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, speak with Gautstafr, who can be found east of Drabnir’s Grotto near the campsite.
Put a Spring in Thy Step Objectives
Find the wildflowers
For this quest, you’ll need to find 3 wildflowers such as greenwarish, pitywort, grandpetal, sunbloom, etc. Once you’ve acquired some wildflowers, deliver them to Gautstafr who will then want you to visit his nearby home.
Visit Gautstafr’s home
To find Gautstafr’s home, you must follow him. On the way he will stop saying that his back hurts. Pick him up then continue following the road north towards the ocean. In the water there will be a path on the rocks that leads to Windwalker’s Home. When you reach the front door, put him down to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, head inside. You can loot the chest inside for a Wakestone Shard. Speak with Gautstafr who will need your help once again.
Escort Gautstafr to Geyser Hamlet
Along the way to the Volcanic Island Camp, you’ll need to protect Gaustatfr from the enemies that you’ll encounter. If you take the northern path heading east through the cave, you’ll find a minotaur in there if you haven’t cleared it out yet. To speed things up just carry him ! You’ll find the hot spring on the southern side of the Volcanic Island Camp. When you deliver the husband, the wife will show up and you’ll unlock the Magick Archer class. The quest will also complete!
