To begin the Twixt a Rock and a Hard Place quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, speak with Akakios in the Mercantile Ward of Bakbattahl.
Twixt a Rock and a Hard Place Objectives
Deliver the letter to Ernesto
For this quest, you’ll need to deliver the letter to Ernesto near the Volcanic Island Camp. To reach Ernesto, exit the northern side of the Volcanic Island Camp and he’ll approach you. Hand over the Letter of Request.
Deliver the letter to Barbas
To deliver Ernesto’s letter to Barbas at the Agamen Ruins, you’ll need to head east to reach the Excavation Site. After heading through the gate, speak with Barbas to hand over the Letter of Request. As a reward, you’ll receive 20,000G and a Ferrystone.
