To begin Ordeals of a New Recruit quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, speak with Phill at the southwestern gate in Borderwatch Outpost just past the Borderwatch Commissary.
Ordeals of a New Recruit Objectives
Aid Accardo
For this quest, you’ll need to go to Accardo’s aid and assure the recruit survives his first brush with harpies. To begin, exit out the southwestern gate and follow the road southwest until you spot Accardo being attacked by harpies. Join in the fray and slay the beasts. Be mindful that they can put you to sleep!
Report back to Phill
After defeating the creatures, return to Phill at Borderwatch Outpost to complete the Ordeals of a New Recruit quest! As a reward, you’ll receive 1,000G and Lantern Oil.
